Abouts the Centre :
The Algerian Center for Earthen Architectural Heritage (CAPTERRE) is a public administrative institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture. It was established by Decree No. 12-79, dated 19 Rabi‘ al-Awwal 1433, corresponding to February 12, 2012, and is headquartered in Timimoun, Timimoun Province. The creation of this institution reflects the State’s commitment to preserving Algeria’s historical centers built with earth.
